Malham Cove
Cherry Class really enjoyed their wet and wild walk at Malham Cove! To link with our flight path learning for the whole school topic 'Our World and Beyond'. First did a 'I spy' hunt and looked carefully whilst we walked! We enjoyed seeing the cows in the field and reading the signs to learn about how Malham Cove was formed. Some of Cherry Class even walked right up to the top of the cove and saw the limestone pavement, although it was very slippy today. When we got back down we walked back to a old barn and had lunch. We practiced making polite conversation to members of the public as we shared our lunch spot with a older couple from Sheffield who were on holiday! In the afternoon we walked through the village and took photographs from different angles at the beautiful surroundings. It was a really fun day, but we are all soaked through!
