Our Governors

Governors' information and duties

At Brooklands School the Governing Body is made up of seven Governors.  Two Parent Governors, one Staff Governor, four co-opted Governors and the Headteacher.  The Governors work in partnership with the Headteacher and the staff of the school.  The core functions of our Governing Body are:

• Ensure clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction.
• Hold the Headteacher to account for the educational performance of the School.
• Oversee the financial performance of the school ensuring money is well spent.
• Policies

Terms of office for parent, co-opted and staff governors is four years.

The Full Governing Body meet every half term.
