What should I do if my child needs to take time off school during term time?
We value your child, and their education, so it is important that they come to school every day. Please contact the Head to discuss any plans you may have to take your child out of school in term time, and complete the request form. Time off for medical reasons is an authorised absence.

How do I report my child's absence?
Please report your child's absence from school by telephoning the school office on the first day of absence, giving reason – followed up by note in your child's home-school book on day of return.
Can my child celebrate their birthday at school?
We love to celebrate birthdays in school! Some parents send a cake or party food to share, the class take time to celebrate together. At Friday assembly, we take time to celebrate birthdays together.
Can I speak to my child's staff teacher and support staff?
We value our relationships with parents highly. We would encourage you to get in touch with any concerns or questions, or to share any important information. Teachers and support staff are in class most of the day, but they will always return a call a soon as they can. The Home/School diary is the best way to communicate with us.
Can I park on site when visiting school?
Parking is extremely limited on site, particularly at the beginning and end of the day. Please feel free to use the car park if you can do so safely.
