Homeless not Hopeless
Pupils from Brooklands have welcomed two visitors from homeless not hopeless last week. During the past few weeks in our hive of well-being, pupils have worked hard collecting and making Christmas boxes for the homeless. They collected essential items that would be useful to those sleeping rough on the streets. Mathew Kiddle set Homeless not Hopeless up nearly two years ago and he came with Jodie Priestly who is a volunteer.
We sat, chatted and asked questions while listening to Mathews story.
This has been a fantastic opportunity for all involved here at school
We were all mesmerised how generous our parents, staff and friends were with all the donations we received, so a big thank you to you all.
